After only one month's development by our team, Sitecore.com launched its new AI driven Sitecore Search experience, delivering an interface that is both intelligent and simplified. The end-to-end, search-as-a-service application overhauled how our content is matched, sorted, and promoted to optimize search results and provide personalized experiences.
Predictive, type-ahead capabilities and the AI engine also allow for strategic amplification of relevant content based on visitor behaviour or strategic business objectives. These improvements, alongside the introduction of multi-site search capability and auto-populated, personalized content recommendation widgets, have transformed visitor search experience on Sitecore.com.
Faster recommendations, happier users
Since revamping the on-site search experience for Sitecore.com, we have seen significant improvements to our visitor experience. Within four months of launching our search solution, internal search click through rate (CTR) increased by 25% with 50% more results being returned overall.
Advanced auto-complete reduced search errors and significantly reduced user search time per day, while the introduction of Search driven recommendations on key content consumption pages led to a 13% decrease in bounce year over year and a 15% increase in engagement time.
